MALONE ISLAND ASSOCIATION

Board Meeting (ZOOM)

June 13, 2022

1.        CALL TO ORDER: 6:37pm

2.       ROLL CALL: Behnke, Larson, Joyce, DaRosa, Dow, Frie present.  Hahn absent.

3.       GUEST IN ATTENDANCE:  NONE

4.       APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Spring Meeting May 21, 2022 Motion by Dow, Second by Larson to approve the minutes of May 21, 2022. Motion passed unanimous

5.       SECRETARYS REPORT:  NONE

6.       CORRESPONDANCE:  Mary Ward.  Concern about number of VRBO’s on Malone Island.  Discussion took place. And agreed this was outside the jurisdiction of the MI Association.  It is a City of Isle matter.

7.       Treasures Report.  Motion DaRosa, second Dow to approve the Balance sheet, Income Statement 12 months ending December 31, 2021, General ledger.  Motion passed unanimous.

8.       PRESIDENTS REPORT:  None

9.       Old business:

Ramp Passes.   DaRosa has distributed most all ramp passes.  If a member hasn’t received, please direct them to DaRosa.

4th July Parade will be held on Sunday July 3rd at 1pm.

Annual Fall meeting.  Suggested that we have our spring and fall meetings at an indoor venue because of the uncertainty of weather.  DaRosa will check with McQuoid for availability once dates have been established.

10.    New Business: 

Harbor Fund was discussed.  Suggestion that MI Association transfer $1000.00 in the Capital improvement Dock fund,  once budget has been finalized.  No Action.

Flagpole on outlot.  Discussion of removing the flagpole.  And install a new pole near the Malone Sign.  Behnke will investigate cost.  No action.

Limbing of trees on outlot.  Jeff Tree Service suggested that some tree work is needed.   DaRosa will investigate and report back to board at next meeting.

11.   ADJOURNMENT:  Motion by Larson, seconded by Joyce motion passed unanimous at 8:04pm.
