MALONE ISLAND ASSOCIATION

BOARD MEETING

May 15,2022

1.        CALL TO ORDER: 10:45 am Location:  Behnke’s back yard

2.       ROLL CALL: Behnke, Larson, DaRosa, Dow, Frie present.  Hahn , Joyce absent.

3.       GUEST IN ATTENDANCE:  NONE

4.       APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

April, 27, 2022,

MOTION by Frie, seconded by Larson to approve the minutes of March 27, 2022.  Motion carried unanimous.

5.        SECRETARYS REPORT:  NONE

6.       CORRESPONDANCE:  None

7.       PRESIDENTS REPORT: Agenda for Spring meeting discussed.

Explanation of Accountant issue, Introduction of new accountant Lind Dahlen.

Boat Ramp passes to be handed out to members present

Larson to report latest on harbor and channel dredging.

Beaver Issue

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

DOCK Committee;  Dow.  Pat Noble and Gary bell swapped docks.  Bell no longer wants a dock.

Dow asked if it would be possible that the dock committee be notified/copied of any information, dock applications etc that take place online thru our website.

Maintenance Committee:  DaRosa will contact Halverson to get a quote to have the bank stabilized (boulders??) where the sitting bench was removed on the outlet near the harbor entrance.

9.       NEW BUSINESS: Website.  Question was asked if forms on website could be filled out and submitted online.  This discussion will take place at a future board meeting.

10.   SPRING MEETING:  To be held May 15 at marina.  Smoke n Mortars will cater.  $10.00 per person.

11.   ADJOURNMENT:  Motion by Frie, seconded by Dow,  motion passed unanimous at 11:30 am.
