Special Information Meeting of General Membership
Dredging and Dock Removal
August 26, 2023
1. Meeting called to order by President Rick Behnke at 10;36 at Dallmann garage.
2. Roll Call: Members present: Behnke, DaRosa, Larson, Dallmann, Stahnke, Dahle. Absent: Joyce.
All members present were given copies of the PowerPoint presentation
3. Presidents Welcoming Statement to all members present. Also introduced Linda Dahlen MIA account and Mike Weidenhamer proposed contractor to do dredging project if approved.
At this time President Behnke presented the Power Point Presentation and answered questions about the project. See Power Point Presentation handout.
4. Voting will be Saturday September 9, 2023, at Dallmann garage. Polls will be open 10:30 to 11:30 am.
5. After much discussion and many questions members were asked to see a show of hand of those that were in favor of Dredging the harbor and channel and if all docks should be removed which would allow better spacing of docks. The show of hand was unanimous in favor of dredging the harbor and channel and removing all docks.
6. Motion to Adjourn by Stahnke, seconded bu Larson at 12:45pm. Motion carried unanimously.

Special Pre-Dredging, Dock Removal Election
Zoom Meeting ( DRAFT)
August 31, 2023
1. Meeting called to order by President Rick Behnke at 7:04pm via Zoom.
2. Roll Call: Members present: Behnke, DaRosa, Larson, Dallmann. Absent: Dahle, Joyce, Stahnke.
3. Update on Dredging Dock Removal Project by Larson:
A. Mark Anderson DNR confirmed that dump site at Isle Airport would be an approve dump site. City of Isle will have to approve the dump site. City of Isle net meeting will be Tuesday September 12, to discuss. Dallman will attend the meeting.
B. If City of Isle does not approve the alternate dump site for harbor dredging materials will be the Larson pit at an approximate cost of $7000.
C. Larson will submit necessary permit to the MN DNR once the dump site is approved.
D. Dock Removal/Replacement. Tony of Isle Docks will inspect all docks with Behnke and determine which docks are to be reinstalled and which docks that are in very poor condition and should be replaced with a new dock. Dock committee to review findings and notify members.
4. Voting Ballot: Motion Dallmann, seconded by DaRosa that the wording of the ballot (see attached). Motion carried unanimously.
5. Voting will be Saturday September 9, 2023, at Dallmann garage. Polls will be open 10:30 to 11:30 am.
6. Vote tabulation Committee: DaRosa as board Secretary will act as chairman. A voting tabulation committee will consist of two board members DaRosa and Dallmann and two members at large Nohre and Bruesewitz.
7. The Board of Directors will make vote results known within 48 hours of election day September 9, 2023.
8. Next meeting will be the General Fall Annual Meeting to be held September30, 2023. Election of officers and board members will take place.
9. Motion to Adjourn by Larson, seconded by Dahl at 8:37pm. Motion carried unanimously.
