Dock Dredging/Removal Election Results

September 9, 2023

1.      Meeting called to order by President Rick Behnke at 12:03pm Dallmann Garage.

2.      Roll Call: Members present:  Behnke, Stahnke, Dahle, DaRosa, Joyce, Dallmann.   Absent:  Larson

3.      Voting polls were open today from 10:30 to 11:30 am today for the purpose of deciding if harbor dredging and dock removal should take place this fall of 2023.

4.      Motion by Stahnke, seconded Dallman to certify the vote of September 9, 2023, on Harbor Dredging and Dock Removal.  Morion carried unanimous.

5.      Motion by Joyce, seconded by Dahle to accept the results of the September 9, 2023 elections:  Votes were tabulated twice and witnessed by Nohre, Bruesewitz, Dallmann, DaRosa.

DREDGING OF HARBOR:  YES 48, NO 8

REMOVAL OF DOCKS:      YES 51, NO 5

Motion approved unanimously.

6.      Motion by Dahle, seconded by Stahnke to proceed with Harbor Dredging and Dock Removal project, and prepare documents with contractors and sub-contractors necessary to proceed.  Motion carried Unanimously.

7.      Motion by Dallmann seconded by Dallmann to authorized President Behnke to act as project manager of the Dredging and Dock removal project.   Motion carried unanimously.

8.      Motion to adjourn by Joyce, seconded by Stahnke at 12:21 pm.   Motion carried unanimously.
